Gujarat Lions vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, Qualifier 2
So we are just 2 matches left from finding out the champion of the Vivo IPL 2016 and this Qualifier 2 will be a sort of Semifinal between the Gujarat Lions and Sunrisers Hyderabad where the winner will go through the final of the tournament and will play against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Match will be played at Feroz Shah Kotla Delhi which will be a neutral Venue but SRH have already played eliminator so they will have a slight edge. Match will start at 7:30 PM Pakistan Standard time.
Starting from the Orange Army SRH who were looking a bit rusty in the last matches of the tournament and couldn’t end it in the top 2 teams but they have won a brilliant match against KKR and quite convincingly by 22 runs in the end. As a whole SRH have the most balanced side with a lot of match winning batsmen and Quality pacers in the team. Their captain has played a role of true leader and has led his side from the front as so far he is the top run scorer from his team. Warner not only in his batting but also in his captaincy has done a great job for the team. The way he attacked on opposition and using his bowlers and the way he used his fielders in the ground it is surely admiring. SRH biggest bonus so far is the match winner batsmen Yuvraj Singh back in the side who in just few matches showed his importance and played a role of match winner in the team. In bowling all the pacers are doing an excellent job in the team. SRH is going with 5 pacers and all are doing great job for the team. They will also have in mind that they have won twice against Gujarat Lions and they will surely take this as a positive.
Coming towards the Gujarat Lions who at one stage in the Qualifier were quite sure that they will be in Final but now they are playing the Qualifier 2 and can’t afford any loss. Thanks to AB De Villiers who single handedly destroyed the bowling attack of Gujarat and took RCB into the final. Now its history and Gujarat have to come with their shoulders up and have to give their best game in the match. They can win it and can take revenge of their defeat against RCB in the final but first they have to take on the stunning SRH who is in excellent form and Gujarat haven’t won any match against them. So first of all Gujrat need to think something out of the box specially they have to work on their batting as the middle order hasn’t done much for the team and need to take responsibility on their shoulders. Suresh Raina also hasn’t done and should need to make some smart moves to grab the victory against the SRH side.
Match is in Delhi where the pitch is seaming and seamers of SRH will try to capitalize the pitch as much as they can. Match will be on a hot and dry day and there is no rain forecast.
